pages to build new websites or revamp old ones.
New Page Creation: Easily create new web
pages, copy existing pages, or create pages
based on templates.

linked documents— incl. Word, Excel, and
PowerPoint— and publish changes immediately.

technology to crop, resize, and make other edits
without leaving Contribute 3.

Media Player movie files into any website.
Improved CSS Rendering: Contribute 3 uses
the Dreamweaver MX 2004 CSS rendering
engine for displaying CSS-based layouts and
designs accurately.

drop-down box has a built-in preview that
displays all available styles.
New CSS-based Page Properties: Gain
sophisticated control over page-wide properties
like headings and links.
Collaboration

system enables cross-functional teams to
collaborate on content. Easily send web pages
to others for review before publishing live.

work in progress, including the status of drafts
and reviews.
Shared Assets: Insert stock images including
logos, HTML snippets, Flash Movies, and
Dreamweaver Library Items from a common
interface.
Administration & Site Management
Publishing Permissions: Define which users
can publish web pages and which users are
limited to only edit and send pages to others for
review and approval.
Users and Roles: Add users and define editing
permissions based on roles. With the optional
Contribute Publishing Services, users can be
defined using enterprise directory sources such
as LDAP or Active Directory.
Editing Controls and File Placement: Regulate
folder access, text tags, and image size, as well
as page creation and deletion. Specify the
location of associated web page images, Office
documents, and CSS styles.
Connection Management: Get connected to
a website easily through a distributed environment
using password protected connection keys or
centrally manage user site connections with the
optional Contribute Publishing Services.
Enhanced Administration Interface: Customize
and configure all the new functions in Contribute
3 using the Contribute Administration interface.
Integration and Compatibility
Dreamweaver MX 2004: Leverage full support
for Dreamweaver CSS, template recognition,

web pages.

most websites built with Frontpage 2003.
