Record/Play this slide only
The Record function within the Macromedia Breeze Plug-In supports two different
recording/playback options:
Continuously. This is the default mode. Recording/Playback will continue until you reach the end
of the presentation or you press Stop. You can use the Action button in the Next Slide mode, to
move to the next slide. This will allow you to continuously record your presentation, just like you
were giving a live presentation.
Record/Play this slide only. In this mode, when the end of the current slide is reached, recording
will stop. To move to the next slide you must use the Next button.
Script
The Macromedia Breeze Plug-In supports
entering your script for each slide. You can
enter your script in the Record Narration
window. The script area allows you to enter
a text script that is assigned to each slide,
which allows you to read it during the
recording process. It is recommended that
before you record your narration you have a
script to read from.
To add your script:
From the Breeze menu select Record. The Record Narration window will open.
Check the View script box. A text window will open.
Click in the text window and begin entering your script.
To enter scripts for a different slide click the Next or Previous button.
Publish
Publishing a Presentation
After recording and previewing your multimedia
presentation, you are ready to upload the
presentation for online conversion and viewing
using Macromedia Breeze. To upload a presentation
to the Macromedia Breeze hosted service you must
be connected to the Internet, preferably a high
bandwidth connection. You can upload a
presentation using the Run Wizard command or
the Publish command in the Breeze menu.
Note: If you are at SUU, be sure that prior to publishing your presentation you go to the Option in the Breeze pull-down
menu and click the Publishing tab to ensure that Enterprise Service: [http://breezep.suu.edu] is selected. If it does not exist,
be sure to add it before moving on.
To publish a presentation:
From the Breeze menu select Publish. This will open the Publish Presentation window, which will
initially show the Log in to Macromedia Breeze screen.
Log in to Macromedia Breeze using the user name (e-mail address) and password provided by the
administrator.
