4. Click in the checkbox next to Refresh Local File List Automatically. Also click on the
checkbox next to Cache: Enable Cache. This will increase the speed with which
Dreamweaver performs its link-management features.
5. Click on the small yellow folder icon next to Default Images Folder: and take the same
path as before but this time add the images folder to the entire path (i.e., My
Documents>Class Materials>Dreamweaver MX 102-LFose>mx2004_website>images)
Click on the images folder
once
and click the Open button; then click on the Select button.
6. Click OK at the bottom of the dialog box to save your site definition and when the Manage
Sites dialog box appears, click Done.
Congratulations! You have just set up your first Dreamweaver site! When you later open the
Files Panel Group, your setup should look something like the illustration in Figure 7 below.

Managing Panels and Panel Groups
Dreamweaver MX 2004 has retained the earlier layout of Dreamweaver MX, which introduced
the use of panel groups and panel tabs (Figure 8). Each panel group can be expanded or
collapsed, and can be docked or undocked with other panel groups. If you wish to customize
your panel groups, it will make it easier to access the panels you need without cluttering your
workspace. Panels within a panel group appear as tabs.
